Nintendo News: USA Airstream Tour Is Happening; Cloud Strife (FFVII) in Smash Bros; Nintendo on Ebay

On a yearly basis, Nintendo reps travel across the United States in a tour bus loaded with the latest Nintendo games, toys and accessories for demonstration; the bus is stocked with amibo’s, 3Ds’ and a WiiU.

Ashley Lippert and Alex Springer described their visit on the Airbus in their article on the Slug Mag site. The games and accessories they saw included the following: Yo-Kai Watch; Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash; The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes; Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash; Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival; and Runbow.

In other news,  Nintendo released another Nintendo direct video showing off video game content to come.  Another Smash Bros. character Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7 was revealed to be the next fighter available for purchase for Super Smash Bros. on WiiU.  Another surprise was the reveal of Twilight princess HD for WiiU, which will come out early in 2016. They also showed off some new footage of Star Fox.  For 3Ds, Nintendo showed off the re-release of the classic Pokemon red and blue, which will connect players to battle using a wireless internet connection.  Zelda Tri Force heroes content was shown as well.  Finally, at the end of the Nintendo direct presentation, an announcement was made about a smash bros. presentation to come sometime in December.  Some believe another character will be revealed in December; hopefully it will beSnake.

Here is the Nintendo direct YouTube video.

Recently Nintendo launched its own eBay store with new and used stuff for sale.  IGN reported the following:

“Some of the items featured on its front page include a Nintendo 2DS Mario Kart 7 bundle for $100, a Wii U 32GB Mario Kart 8 bundle for $300, and factory refurbished 3DS handheld consoles for less than their average retail price.”
