NFL’s Oldest Cheerleader Pleads Guilty to Rape

The NFL’s oldest cheerleader, Molly Shattuck, has pleaded guilty to one count of rape in the fourth degree. The felony will force her to register as a sex offender. Her official sentencing will not be until August when she will face up to 15 years in prison.

Originally, Shattuck had been indicted in November in Delaware on nine counts: two counts of third degree rape, four counts of unlawful sexual contact and three counts of distributing alcohol to a minor. Altogether Shattuck had been indicted on Class B and Class F felonies as well as a misdemeanor.

The wife of former Constellation Energy CEO Mayo Shattuck has been accused of performing oral sex on a 15-year old boy whom she had had repeated contact with. Most disturbing is the event which took place over Labor Day when Shattuck purchased alcohol for the boy and then proceeded to perform oral sex on him multiple times.

What I find most disturbing about this is the fact that not only was the boy a classmate of her son’s, but he was also roughly the same age as her son.

The results of pleading guilty to her charges also means that Shattuck will have to register as a sex offender for 25 years and she will have to check in with Delaware police every 6 months.
