Dragon Age: Inquisition Game of the Year Edition Announced

Developer Bioware and publisher Electronic Arts have announced that last year’s critical and commercial hit Dragon Age: Inquisition will be receiving a Game of the Year Edition on October 6. The action role playing game was released in November of 2014 and received a ton of game of the year awards from various outlets including Game Informer, IGN, Electronic Gaming Monthly and Polygon as well as receiving the top honour at annual award ceremonies like the DICE Awards and the newly christened The Game Awards. The total number of game of the year awards Dragon Age: Inquisition won was over 130.

The game of the year edition will include the main game and all additional post launch downloadable content, include the three substantial story expansions Jaws of Hakkon, The Descent and Tresspasser as well as less substantial additions like new weapons and armour.

While the game initially launched on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, the older consoles were quickly abandoned following the launch of the Jaws of Hakkon campaign DLC, and this rerelease seems to follow that example. It’ll be out October 6, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
