CBS Orders Comedy Pilot From Liz Feldman

CBS has issued a put pilot commitment for Hello Again, a comedy series from Liz Feldman (2 Broke Girls, Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show) and Aaron Kaplan (The Mysteries of Laura, Friends With Better Lives). For those unaware, a put pilot commitment means that a network has ordered a pilot and has made a commitment to air it regardless of whether the show gets picked up to series or not or else pay a penalty sum to the production house, in this case Kaplan’s company Kapital Entertainment and Warner Bros. TV.

The series will follow a married woman who is left reeling after an old flame moves into the house next door. Feldman will serve as writer, a role she also took in her previous series One Big Happy and the 2007, 2014 and 2015 Academy Awards. If CBS picks the show up to series then it will probably air during the network’s 2016 – 2017 television season.
