Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate Gets a Season Pass

Ubisoft has confirmed that it’s upcoming open world action adventure game Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will receive a season pass containing all of it’s downloadable content. In a trailer showcased at Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference, Ubisoft revealed that one of the pieces of downloadable content included in the pass will be an additional campaign about notorious serial killer Jack the Ripper, who was at large after murdering several prostitutes in Whitechapel in about the same time period Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is set.

Every Assassin’s Creed game since Assassin’s Creed III has received a season pass, though last year’s Assassin’s Creed: Unity had it’s pass discontinued after the unstable launch of the main game caused Ubisoft to release one of it’s pieces of content free of charge as an apology to consumers. While these previous passes have included a mix of single player and multiplayer content, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate contains no multiplayer component and as such it’s downloadable content is comprised entirely of single player additions.

The season pass includes the previously mentioned Jack the Ripper campaign, as well as the Maharaja mission pack; a selection of ten brand new missions, a permanent XP boost of 5%, new gear and weapons and an additional mission available on the game’s launch day.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is set to release on October 23rd worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC release is also planned for this year but has no firm release date.
