Adele has done it again. She gave yet another chill-inducing performance of her new song Hello Saturday on her comeback press tour.
The British star mesmerized her audience Saturday at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France, which is the second time Adele has performed her huge hit. She performed Hello live for an upcoming BBC special earlier this week.
The 27-year-old wore a black dress while singing her emotional ballad on a romantically lit stage at the awards show. She was joined by a live band and two female backup singers.
Hello is the first track to receive one million downloads in the U.S. during its debut week. This is Adele’s first single in almost three years, which will appear on her upcoming album 25.
So what does this mean? She’s officially back. And we will be seeing a lot more of her soon.
Adele is set to have several other performances in the upcoming weeks, including a concert at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Nov. 17. She’ll also appear on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest on Nov. 21. She will also appear on The Tonight Show on Nov. 23 and the Today show on Nov. 25.
I know that I am one of many that are beyond excited to see Adele back in business. Her last album 21 was way too long ago!
