Nintendo has revealed a high definition remake of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Wii U on March 4, 2016. Originally released for the Wii and the GameCube in late 2006, Twilight Princess received critical acclaim.
The game, which is being handled by developer Tantalus in cooperation with Nintendo, will feature the usual visual upgrade as well as several unique features that have yet to be revealed. The game will launch alongside a new Wolf Link amiibo and will also be compatible with the Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Ganandorf and Shiek amiibos previously released. Players will be able to buy the game separately or in a bundle along with a soundtrack and the Wolf Link amiibo.
Nintendo also reiterated that the new The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is on track for a 2016 release following its delay earlier this year.
