Rapper Rick Ross, or William Leonard Roberts II, and a man described as being his bodyguard (42 year-old Nadrian Lateef James) were arrested early Wednesday morning at his home in Atlanta, Georgia by the United States Marshals Service fugitive task force and deputies. The two are currently in custody in Fayette County on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
This is the second time in two weeks that Rick Ross has been arrested in Fayette County. On June 10, he was booked into county jail on a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession.
The warrants that Ross and James were arrested under alleges that they both hit a man with a hand gun, knocking out two of the man’s teeth and causing neck and jaw injuries. As a result, both Ross and James are now being denied bond while they wait to go in front of a Fayette County Superior Court judge on July 1st.
