Publix Annual Miracle Balloon!

Publix has teamed up with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for a fundraising mission. Their goal? To raise money for training programs, research, education, outreach programs and equipment that will help save lives.

The fundraiser, called the Annual Miracle Balloon, kicked off on Monday at participating Publix locations and will continue until mid-June. Customers can make a $1, $3 or $5 donations and get to not only help a worthy charity but also they’ll receive coupons on great products! The value of the coupons range from $5.50 to $20.

For twenty three years Publix has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In that time, customers and associates have raised over thirty million dollars worth of donations. The donations are given to the closest appropriate children’s hospital which explains their slogan, “local dollars for local kids”.

Every spring Publix embarks on this three week campaign. Last year, they raised over $3.7 million dollars which made them officially one of the top ten fundraisers for C.M.N.H.
