Police chase for Christmas thieves underway

$35,000 worth of Christmas trees have been stolen from a Costco in Florida. The trees were transported in two stolen trailers worth $78,000.

Thankfully, Costco is surplus heaven and more trees will appear in the missing trees’ place. The Miami-Dade police is still trying to hunt down the runaway firs.

I think it is safe to say that the world will go on another day with a few displaced trees. The real question is, what in the world would be worth it to even consider such a ridiculous heist?

The prospect of success is meek and if you want some cash, there are easier and more inconspicuous ways to go about it. What Costco faced was a couple of anti-holiday hooligans.

Many of us cringe as the masses fall in line to start humming annoyingly catchy tunes and itchy sweaters. It could make any Grinch consider some drastic measures. Of course this does not condone stealing, for the Whos down in Whoville will only sing louder anyway.
