Lotto Max Winning Ticket Sold in Quebec

Someone in Quebec is $55 million dollars richer today. The only winning ticket for Friday’s Lotto Max draw was sold in the province.

This is the second largest jackpot in Canadian lottery history. The largest was back in April 0f 2013 with a jackpot of $63.4 million. That lottery had four winners, each with a ticket worth $15.9 million. This time around, there is only one winner, taking home the whole $55 mililion.

There were also thirty MaxMillions prizes worth $1 million each. That jackpot had 10 winning tickets each.

The next jackpot for the Lotto Max on July 24 is worth approximately $30 million.
