Islamic State Suicide Bomber Kills 25 in Kuwait

There has been yet another fatal attack by the Islamic State. On Friday, a suicide bomber killed himself as well as 25 innocent people when he blew himself up inside of the packed Imam al-Sadeq Shi’ite Muslim mosque in the middle of Kuwait during the Friday prayers. An additional 202 people were wounded.

The suicide bomber is reported to have been quite young looking. And the force of the blast destroyed the ceiling and walls of the mosque. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the bomber, identifying the bomber as Abu Suleiman al-Muwahed, whose mission was to destroy the Shi’ites, whom the Islamic States considers to be heretics.

This is the first attack of this kind in Kuwait and has shown the world that the Islamic State has no shame in attacking anyone, anywhere, that does not comply with their own warped version of Islam.
