First International Yoga Day Celebrated in India

With Saturday marking the first ever International Yoga Day, it is only fitting that millions of yoga enthusiasts take part in a mass yoga program in New Delhi.

With police officers keeping vigil, everyone from schoolchildren, bureaucrats and soldiers to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and foreign diplomats twisted and turned their bodies to mark the day.

Yofa is an Indian physical, mental and spiritual practice. The ultimate goal from practicing yoga is moksha (liberation) in more ways than one.
