‘El Chapo’ is back in custody, but for how long?

We all know the old saying, “Third times the charm.” Well, lets hope that for the Mexican authorities, that’s true.

Following his almost immediate escape from what the Mexican Government coined their “highest security prison,” the drug lord, nicknamed “The Last Godfather” made numerous headlines with his cartel bragging about the plan brought to fruition immediately following his arrest and for his public threat warning the terror group ISIS against any provocations or trespass onto his cartel’s proclaimed territory that takes up Sinaloa, (the mexican coastal sate in which the cartel was born) Mexico, and much of the U.S/Mexican border.

The drug lord’s prior arrest was made in his 4th floor apartment in the beachfront area of Sinaloa.

Based on what Mexican authorities have divulged, his latest arrest was quite a bit more dramatic, with it following a firefight between his bodyguard and the Mexican Marines.

No further information has been released.

But can prison hold the man who has made Most Wanted lists worldwide, including the United State’s #1 following the death of Osama Bin Laden?

There’s speculation that his Cartel has already began plotting his escape once again, but it’s no doubt going to be quite a bit more difficult, with the Mexican authorities learning from their mistakes.

I for one hope that the third time, was the charm.
