Complete list of Grammy nominees: Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd score big

Grammy season is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with the full list of this year’s nominees?

The first batch of nominations for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards was announced at 8:15 a.m. ET on CBS This Morning Monday. Alicia Keys, who has picked up 15 Grammy Awards, revealed the artists nominated in the following categories: album of the year, song of the year, record of the year, and best new artist.

And just fifteen minutes later, all of the categories’ nominees were revealed on Grammy.com!

So who are this year’s front runners?

Taylor Swift’s 1989 album landed her several nominations in categories including album of the year, song of the year and record of the year.

Additionally, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and Ed Sheeran nabbed two nominations out of the four broad categories Keys announced (in CAPS below).

When looking across all categories, Kendrick Lamar comes out on top. That’s a bit of a shocker if you ask me. He earned 11 nominations overall, followed by Swift and the Weeknd with seven each.

The Grammys will be back at L.A.’s Staples Center on Feb. 15, 2015 and will broadcast on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m. A host has not been announced, according to E!.
