Carlsberg Beer Company Releasing Fallout Beer in Time for Fallout 4

Fallout 4 the video game will be released on November 10 for PC and Console. Over the past few months, in celebration of Fallout 4, developer Bethesda has been offering a Fallout cell phone game and a limited edition Pip Boy wrist toy. In addition,  Bethesda and Carlsberg beer will be offering another product called Fallout Beer.

Chris Scott Barr of Slash Gear reported the following news about the Fallout Beer.

“Bethesda has teamed up with Carlsberg UK to create a ‘light coloured pilsner lager, with a refreshing zesty hoppy taste and a floral aroma.’ With so many names to choose from, we can only wonder how they came up with ‘Fallout Beer’ for this Wasteland tie-in product. The beer in Fallout was called ‘Gamma Gulp’ for a couple of games, which would have been a nice throwback. But I guess it’s better than just calling it ‘beer’ as they have in the last couple of games.

‘This is something of a world-first,’ said Bruce Ray, Carlsberg UK’s corporate affairs director in a release this week. ‘Adult participation in video gaming is a truly social activity, on a par with cinema and music. We’re proud to work with Bethesda to produce a beer Fallout fans can enjoy.’

Fallout Beer appears to only be available in the UK, and you can pick it up on Amazon for £29.99 per case of 12.”

Too bad the beer is only out in U.K. If fans really want it, perhaps there is a way to legally import Fallout Beer to your country.

In other news the limited edition Pipboy is now available again for sale after being sold out for months. Allegra Frank from Polygon reported the following:

“The limited edition Pip-Boy version of Fallout 4 is now available again in the Bethesda Store. This is the third time this week that the $120 set is on sale, and it is sure to go out of stock quickly.”

What I think the fans want is to see is for Bethesda to team up with a company like Pepsi or Coca-Cola and create an authentic Nuka-Cola drink just like the one in Fallout. The beer looks really interesting though, but not everyone can legally drink it like a soft drink (such as Nuka-Cola).

Here is a news video from IGN on YouTube. Take a look at the label design for the beer bottle in the video.
