There was absolutely nothing “little” about this BIG day for the Roloff family! Zach Roloff married his wife, Tori Roloff (Patton), on Saturday, July 25.
His smile was big, the guest list was big and their love for each other is anything but little. The couple, after being engaged for one year, vowed to spend their lives with each other in front of their two hundred guests. Zach told People magazine:
“It’s a big day. We’re marrying, coming together, committing ourselves to one another for a lifetime in front of all of our family and friends. We’re just super excited!”
The setting for their wedding was, of course, the family farm. Zach, 25, and Tori, 24, had a very different wedding than the one that took place at the same location last September. Just under a year ago Zach’s twin brother, Jeremy, also got married on the farm. Their wedding was eclectic and vintage-chic while Zach’s wedding was reportedly more traditional. Yet both brothers stood side by side, each having the other as best man.
Despite marital problems between Amy and Matthew, they were able to focus on their beautiful children and watch their son start this new chapter in his life. They may be getting a divorce but their love for their family will always bring them together. Zach said:
“My parents played a huge role in setting up the farm, making it all nice.”
Tori was in awe of the landscaping her now father-in-law took on to help make the backdrop to their wedding absolutely stunning. She said:
“Matt planted a bunch of wheat fields behind the gazebo. There’s like these huge rolling hills of wheat, which are really beautiful.”
Matt wasn’t the only one busy! Apparently Amy planned their entire rehearsal dinner and meal which meant hosting about forty-five people. After watching his mom at Jeremy’s wedding, Zach commented on how his mother might feel watching him get married. He said:
“My mom’s going to have a tough time with all four of her kids marrying, if they all do. She bawled all the way through her and Jeremy’s mother-son dance and she and I are really close. She’ll bawl through ours, too.”
The couple, not being as outgoing or flashy as his twin and wife, were a bit uncomfortable being the center of attention. But regardless of not being “spotlight kind of people” they both looked beautiful and I’m sure handled themselves with grace.
Watch their wedding in a two hour TLC Little People, Big World special on Tuesday, August 25 at 8pm EST.
