17 Dead, 70 Injured in Tunisian Train Crash

Seventeen people have died and another seventy are injured after a Tunisian passenger train collided with a semi-trailer truck southwest of Tunis outside the town of El Fahs early Tuesday morning. The train was derailed as a result of the impact with the truck, which ejected numerous passengers after the truck reportedly slammed into the train.

Emergency crews were quick to respond with twenty ambulances being mobilized to evacuate the dead and wounded to three hospitals in the area.
